I have some good news and some even better news for you, dear readers.
First the good news: I am now gainfully employed, working part-time for WBGO, the jazz radio and media organization based in Newark, NJ. I have been semi-officially affiliated with them for the past year or so as an intern to Josh Jackson at The Checkout, but am moving to work on a new project that is developing — watch this space for more as that develops.
The even BETTER news is that I’ll be manning the chatroom again for tonight’s Live @ The Village Vanguard event, featuring Wayne Escoffrey’s quartet. We’ll be broadcasting it live — audio and video — starting at 9 pm EST. I hope to see you there.

Congratulations to you – I meant to write earlier to say how much I enjoyed your segment of The Checkout. Good work!
